Unanimated are a Swedish melodic death metal band from Stockholm. Their music combines the melodic approach associated with Swedish death metal with elements of black metal.
The band's 1995 album Ancient God of Evil is revered by musicians in the death metal scene, including Damian Herring of Horrendous and Mikael Stanne of Dark Tranquillity.
