Joe Jackson Band

Joe Jackson (born David Ian Jackson; 11 August 1954) is a British musician, singer and songwriter. Having spent years studying music and playing clubs, he found success as part of the late 1970s new wave scene with hit singles "Is She Really Going Out with Him?" from his first album Look Sharp! (1979) and "It's Different for Girls" from second album I'm the Man (1979). In the 1980s, he moved to more jazz-pop style, and achieved further hits including "Steppin' Out" from the album Night and Day (1982) and "You Can't Get What You Want (Till You Know What You Want)" from the album Body and Soul (1984). During this period, Jackson became associated with the 1980s Second British Invasion of the US. He has also composed classical music and has received five Grammy Award nominations.
